Does it cost anything to use Finance World?
For most home loans there is no cost to you. We are paid by the lender once your loan settles. If a fee ever applies to your situation, we will tell you upfront before you commit to anything.
Will enquiring affect my credit score?
No. An initial chat and assessment does not affect your credit score. A formal application, which only happens with your go-ahead, may involve a credit check, and we will always explain that first.
How long does it take?
An initial chat takes just a few minutes. Once we have your details, pre-approvals are often back within 48 hours, depending on the lender and your situation.
Can you help if my bank has already said no?
Often, yes. Every lender assesses differently, so a no from one bank is not a no from the market. We work with 20+ lenders and can look at options your bank cannot.
Do I have to be in Auckland?
No. We are based in South Auckland but work with clients right across New Zealand, by phone, email and video call.
